I dunno if I accomplished what I wanted to with the colors. I mean, you'll see dear Snape is dressed in his standard monochrome, but I also wanted Cassie to look plain and earthy and drab-colored. That way, the technicolor craziness would offset them both. Cassie's not colorful in and of herself, but she puts the color in the situation. 'Cause, y'see, the color's only where she's been already. But the thing is, she knows that, and wants her sad nowhere friend Severus to partake in the bright hues. So not only is this a tribute to that Nowhere Man scene in Yellow Submarine, but it's also my "Cheer up, emo Snape" picture.

Of course, in the early eighties, she kinda turned into a nowhere woman herself. A certain terrible event stole most of the color from her. But then, the color was only where she's already been. It was in her past. And suddenly, the past was painful, because the present was terrible, and the technicolor could never return like it was then. But this, children, is too much symbolism, and a story for another time. Now, biscuits.

I know her hair's a different shade than it was in the dog picture. But I like it better lookin' all chestnutty like this. So THIS IS HOW IT SHALL REMAIN KTHX. Another note about hair: the greasy kind is still way fun to draw. I refuse to Photoshop that part.
